The steam generated by the waste heat in the production process of calcined petroleum coke is used to generate electricity, and the steam and hot water after power generation are used to supply the steam and hot water required by Binhai New Area, so that the resources can be fully utilized.

The company adheres to the concept of "intelligent and digital manufacturing, resource recycling, and green and long-term development", and utilizes the flue gas generated in the process of producing calcined petroleum coke. This part of the flue gas has a large amount of heat energy. In the past, it was usually discharged directly through the chimney at high altitudes, and did not get any valuable utilization. Huiyu Thermal Power Generation System uses waste heat boilers to recover the heat energy in this part of the high-temperature flue gas, heats the water into superheated steam, and the superheated steam drives the operation of the turbo-generator set to generate electricity. The installed capacity is 12MW, which effectively improves the comprehensive utilization rate of resources, greatly reduces energy consumption, and promotes resource conservation and comprehensive utilization.
